Day 1: Arrival in Fes – Transfer to the Hotel

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Fes Sais Airport, your driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel or riad located in the heart of the old Medina. If your arrival is early, you may have time to explore the local area. Dinner and overnight in Fes.

Day 2: Full Day to Discover Fes – A UNESCO World Heritage City

Today is all about exploring Fes, one of the oldest and most cultural cities in Morocco. Visit the famous Al Karaouine Mosque, known as the oldest university in the world, the Bou Inania and Attarine madrasas, and walk through the busy souks of the Medina. You’ll also discover Fes El-Jedid and enjoy the traditional Moroccan architecture. This day gives you a real feel of Moroccan culture and history.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

We begin our adventure by driving through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco,” then Azrou, home to cedar forests and wild monkeys. We continue to the Berber town of Midelt for lunch, then pass through the scenic Ziz Valley before arriving in the desert village of Merzouga. Here, you’ll ride camels into the dunes and spend the night in a traditional desert camp. This is one of the highlights of your 8 days desert tour from Fes.

Day 4: Explore Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi Dunes

Then we head to Rissani, known for its traditional market, and continue to Erfoud to visit a fossil workshop. After that, we drive through beautiful palm groves and arrive at the Todra Gorges – a natural canyon perfect for walking and photos. Later, we continue to the Dades Valley where you’ll spend the night.

Day 6: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Today we explore the beautiful Dades Valley and pass through the Valley of Roses and Skoura palm grove. We stop in Ouarzazate to visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah, then continue to Ait Ben Haddou – a UNESCO World Heritage village where many movies were filmed, including Gladiator and The Mummy. After lunch, we drive through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.

Day 7: Day Trip to Essaouira – Return to Marrakech

We travel to the Atlantic coast to visit Essaouira, a peaceful seaside town once known as Mogador. It is famous for its historic port, windy beaches, and colorful medina. Enjoy fresh seafood, visit the ramparts, and stroll through markets full of local crafts. In the late afternoon, we return to Marrakech for the night.

Day 8: Marrakech – Airport Transfer
