Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – Start of Your Casablanca Tour

Your 12 days tour from Casablanca begins with a warm welcome at Casablanca airport, the port, or your hotel. Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city and an important economic center. We start our Morocco private tour with a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque, the biggest mosque in Morocco, located next to the Atlantic Ocean. After some free time for lunch, we enjoy a short tour of the city, including the beautiful Corniche. Overnight stay in a hotel in Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen (5 hr 5 min 340 km)

After breakfast, we leave Casablanca and drive along the Atlantic coast to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. As part of your journey, we visit top sites such as the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. After lunch, we continue our scenic drive through the Rif Mountains to reach the stunning blue city of Chefchaouen. Overnight in a charming hotel.

Day 3: Discovering Chefchaouen

Today we explore Chefchaouen, a peaceful town in the Rif Mountains, known for its blue-painted streets and houses. In the morning, we walk through the old Medina and enjoy the colorful doors and blue alleys. After lunch, you can hike up to the Spanish Mosque for a great view of the whole town. This is one of the most memorable stops on the trip. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes (3 hr 46 min 197 km)

After breakfast, you can enjoy some free time in Chefchaouen before we drive to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with beautiful mosaics and ancient structures. We then visit Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, to see Bab Mansour, the royal stables, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. In the evening, we drive to Fes. Overnight in a traditional riad.

Day 5: Fes Sightseeing Tour

A local guide will take you on a full-day tour of Fes, one of the cultural highlights of your private Morocco tour from Casablanca. We visit the Royal Palace gate, the famous Blue Gate, old universities, and beautiful fountains. We have lunch in Midelt, then drive through the Ziz Valley with amazing views. In the afternoon, we reach Merzouga, where we ride camels into the desert to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight in a luxury desert camp with live Berber music, one of the most anticipated nights of the trip.

Day 7: Explore Merzouga and Desert Villages

You’ll wake up early to watch the sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, we ride back to Merzouga by camel and begin a 4×4 tour of the desert area. We visit nomad families, an old mine, and the Khamlia village, known for African music. After lunch, we see palm groves and a desert lake. Overnight in a hotel in Merzouga.

Day 8: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley (4 hr 12 min 265 km)

Today we travel from the desert to the mountains. We visit Rissani, famous for its local market, and stop in Erfoud to see fossils. Then we drive to the stunning Todra Gorges, where you can walk between the high cliffs. After lunch, we drive through the Dades Valley with a stop at the “monkey fingers” rock formations. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in the valley.

Day 9: Dades – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech (5 hr 47 min 331 km)

We continue our Casablanca itinerary through the beautiful Rose Valley and palm groves of Skoura. We stop in Ouarzazate to see movie studios. Next, we visit Ait Ben Haddou, a famous fortified village and UNESCO site used in many movies like Gladiator and TV shows like Game of Thrones. After lunch, we drive through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka pass to reach Marrakech. Overnight in a riad — this stretch through the Atlas Mountains is one of the most scenic drives of the whole trip.

Day 10: Marrakech City Tour – Highlight of the Casablanca and Marrakech Itinerary

After breakfast, we explore the red city of Marrakech with a local guide as part of our exciting itinerary. We visit top attractions like the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef School, and the colorful souks. After lunch at Jemaa El-Fna Square, we see the Koutoubia Mosque and relax at Majorelle Garden. In the evening, enjoy free time at the square. Overnight stay in a Riad.

Day 11: Marrakech – Essaouira (2 hr 59 min 182 km)

We leave Marrakech and drive to the Atlantic coast to visit the charming town of Essaouira. On the way, we may see goats climbing Argan trees. In Essaouira, we explore the port, old walls, and traditional shops in the Medina. Overnight in a hotel in Essaouira.

 Verified Great Affordable Private Tour of the Sahara Desert We had a great experience with this company on our recent trip to Morocco. Mohammed (the owner of the company) was very responsive during the booking process and worked very hard to let all the appropriate people know about my husband's food allergies. Mohammed (our tour guide) was also wonderful. We did a 3 night/4 day tour from Morocco to Fes via the Sahara desert that involved a lot of driving. I am usually a nervous passenger, but I felt very safe and not concerned when driving around Morocco. When there was free time, he made suggestions for things we could do, but we were able to make decisions about what we wanted to do, etc. He made arrangements for us to ride ATVs the second night we were in the desert and that ended up being one of our favorite experiences of the trip. The food on this tour was fabulous and Mohammed made sure to find good options for us for lunch. We also made frequent stops for bathroom breaks and to stretch our legs while driving. The hotels we stayed at were amazing, especially the hotel in Dades and the luxury desert camp. We were originally planning to do two nights at the desert camp, so we were disappointed to hear that we were going back to a hotel for the third night, but the company explained why they were suggesting that we go to a hotel (heat-related reasons) and gave us the option to stay at the camp or do the hotel. We ended up going to the hotel once we understood the reasoning behind this. When coming to Morocco, it is totally worth the time to make it all the way to the Sahara. Riding a camel to the desert camp and being in the dunes was amazing and there is nothing like it in the world.  Verified Fantastic experience!! We were a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children aged 13 and 9. The experience was awesome. Planning with Mohammed via email was super easy.. So easy that upon paying the deposit I was scared we were being scammed as the whole process was extremely easy, the deposit low and they were very accommodating with our wishes. But it was anything but a scam! Our holiday was perfectly planned, the hotels and riads were comfortable and clean and close to main attractions. The guide Hamid and drivers Mohammed ansd Ibrahim were very helpful with great tips on what to see and do and we also got to eat in local places getting the true Moroccan exerience.  Verified Highly recommend! I went on a 5 day tour and I can only say that it was really good. As a solo female Im very careful but Muhammad made me feel really safe. I had given the itinerary that I wanted and had completely left everything on them to do. They planned out everything. I loved the riads. The tour guide,Ahmed, in Fes was amazing. My favorite part was camping in the desert. It was absolutely amazing. Muhammad was very accommodating. He tried to answer all the questions that I had.
