Your 10 days in Morocco begin with your arrival at Mohamed V Airport or pickup from your accommodation in Casablanca. We will visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Afterward, enjoy a scenic drive by the seaside area of Ain Diab Corniche and stop by the famous Rick’s Café. Later, we head to your hotel where you will spend your first night.
After breakfast, we drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here, you’ll explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, walk near the Hassan Tower, and visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Then, we head north through green farmlands to the blue city of Chefchaouen. Wander the peaceful blue streets, visit the old Kasbah, and enjoy time in Uta el-Hammam Square. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Today, your Morocco tour 10 days from Casablanca continues to the south. We visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, then drive to Meknes, the 17th-century imperial city. Stop at the beautiful Bab Mansour gate, walk in El Hedim Square, and visit the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. In the afternoon, we continue to Fes where we will spend the night.
In the morning, take a half-day tour with a local guide to explore Fes, the oldest imperial city in Morocco. Visit the Royal Palace gates, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and walk through the old medina, known for its narrow streets and traditional markets. Stop by the Chouara Tanneries and see the al-Qarawiyyin University. In the afternoon, drive through the lovely town of Ifrane, stop in the cedar forest of Azrou to see monkeys, then reach Midelt for the night.
After breakfast, enjoy a drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the long Ziz Valley filled with palm trees. We pass by Erfoud, known for its dates and fossils, before arriving at the Merzouga Desert. In the afternoon, ride a camel into the sand dunes and watch the beautiful sunset. Today, we travel through the Valley of Roses, with the option to stop at a local cooperative to learn about rose products like oil, soap, and perfume. We reach Ouarzazate, called the “Hollywood of Africa”, with an option to visit the Atlas Film Studios. Then we head to the UNESCO site of Ait Benhaddou, a famous village used in many movies. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech.
Spend the day exploring Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the Majorelle Garden, a peaceful place filled with exotic plants. Then see the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the beautiful Bahia Palace. Walk through the busy souks and end your tour in the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, where you’ll see performers, musicians, and food stalls.
After breakfast, we drive to Essaouira, a relaxed coastal city on the Atlantic Ocean. On the way, you can stop at an argan oil cooperative to see how the oil is made. In Essaouira, explore the old Medina, fishing port, city walls, and long beach. Try fresh grilled fish at the local market. In the evening, return to Marrakech for the night.
