Itinerary

Day 1 - Reaching Casablanca

We pick you up early on the first day from the port, the airport, or your Casablanca lodging. Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city, is regarded as the country’s economic hub. The greatest mosque in Morocco, Hassan II, will be our first stop. It is situated on a peninsula with a view of the Atlantic Ocean on the city’s west coast. Lunch hour is free. Day 2 - Casablanca, the capital city of Rabat, Chefchaouen

Day 3 - Meknes, Fes, Chefchaouen, and the Roman remains of Volubilis

After breakfast, we head south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, known for its cool climate, snow, and charming alpine-style homes, earning it the nickname “Switzerland of Morocco.” Next, we visit the cedar forest, home to Barbary macaques, where you can even feed them as you stroll. Then, we continue to Midelt for a lunch break before driving through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the scenic Ziz Valley, with stops along the way for beautiful views.

In the afternoon, we arrive at the Merzouga Desert, where you’ll switch to camels for a ride across the golden dunes. We’ll pause atop a high dune to enjoy the sunset before reaching our camp. This desert camp combines the traditional nomadic tents with modern comforts, offering an authentic yet luxurious experience. Enjoy a Berber dinner, drum music, and dancing around the campfire under a star-filled sky. Overnight in the camp.

Day 6 - Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake up early to catch a stunning sunrise over the desert, followed by breakfast. We then return by camel to Merzouga, where our driver awaits. Our first stop after leaving the desert is Rissani, an ancient trading center with a lively market three days a week.

Next, we visit Erfoud to see a workshop where fossilized marble is crafted, then drive through the lush palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad to reach Todra Gorge. Carved by the Todra River, this canyon’s high red cliffs are a favorite spot for climbers. Feel free to wander and admire the beauty of the gorge. After lunch, we continue to the Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades and making stops to see the unique “Monkey Fingers” rock formations and scenic viewpoints over the valley. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Dades.

Day 7 - Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura Palm Groves – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

On our final day, we begin by visiting Kalaat M’Gouna, known as the Rose Valley. In May, a Rose Festival is held where locals sell rose-based products, from perfumes to oils. We then drive through the palm groves of Skoura to reach Ouarzazate, where we’ll tour the film studios famous for movies like Gladiator and The Mummy.

Afterward, we visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a fortified village featured in many movies and series. Continuing through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains, we’ll stop for lunch and photos at scenic spots.
