Then you will visit Boumalne Dades and continue to the dramatic Todra Gorges, where you can take a walk between the tall canyon walls. You’ll also stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its clean streets and European-style houses. Day 08: Exploring Fes Medina with a local guide (walking day, no long drive)

After breakfast, meet your local guide for a full day of exploring the rich history of Fes, one of the oldest cities in Morocco. Visit the famous Fes el-Bali, the old medina with its narrow streets and bustling souks. You’ll see the Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest in the world, and visit the Bou Inania Madrasa and the beautiful Nejjarine Fountain. Day 09: Fes - Meknes - Volubilis - Chefchaouen (about 5-5.5 hrs, 290 km)

Today, you’ll drive from Fes to Chefchaouen with amazing stops along the way. First, visit Meknes, a historical imperial city with large gates and beautiful buildings. Then head to Volubilis, a well-preserved Roman ruin site where you can walk among ancient columns and mosaics. After that, continue your journey through the scenic Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, the famous blue city. Walk around the peaceful blue-painted streets and enjoy the relaxed vibe. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 10: Chefchaouen - Tangier - Asilah (about 3-3.5 hrs, 160 km)

We had a great experience with this company on our recent trip to Morocco. Mohammed (the owner of the company) was very responsive during the booking process and worked very hard to let all the appropriate people know about my husband's food allergies. Mohammed (our tour guide) was also wonderful. We did a 3 night/4 day tour from Morocco to Fes via the Sahara desert that involved a lot of driving. I am usually a nervous passenger, but I felt very safe and not concerned when driving around Morocco. When there was free time, he made suggestions for things we could do, but we were able to make decisions about what we wanted to do, etc. He made arrangements for us to ride ATVs the second night we were in the desert and that ended up being one of our favorite experiences of the trip. The food on this tour was fabulous and Mohammed made sure to find good options for us for lunch. We also made frequent stops for bathroom breaks and to stretch our legs while driving. The hotels we stayed at were amazing, especially the hotel in Dades and the luxury desert camp. We were originally planning to do two nights at the desert camp, so we were disappointed to hear that we were going back to a hotel for the third night, but the company explained why they were suggesting that we go to a hotel (heat-related reasons) and gave us the option to stay at the camp or do the hotel. We ended up going to the hotel once we understood the reasoning behind this. When coming to Morocco, it is totally worth the time to make it all the way to the Sahara. Riding a camel to the desert camp and being in the dunes was amazing and there is nothing like it in the world. Advisor Morocco Tours is an affordable option that made this possible for our family of 4.

We were a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children aged 13 and 9. The experience was awesome. Planning with Mohammed via email was super easy.. So easy that upon paying the deposit I was scared we were being scammed as the whole process was extremely easy, the deposit low and they were very accommodating with our wishes. But it was anything but a scam! Our holiday was perfectly planned, the hotels and riads were comfortable and clean and close to main attractions. The guide Hamid and drivers Mohammed ansd Ibrahim were very helpful with great tips on what to see and do and we also got to eat in local places getting the true Moroccan exerience. I went on a 5 day tour and I can only say that it was really good. As a solo female Im very careful but Muhammad made me feel really safe. I had given the itinerary that I wanted and had completely left everything on them to do. They planned out everything. I loved the riads. The tour guide,Ahmed, in Fes was amazing. My favorite part was camping in the desert. It was absolutely amazing. Muhammad was very accommodating. He tried to answer all the questions that I had. The highlight, without a doubt, was our journey into the Sahara Desert with our tour guide Hamid. Riding camels over golden dunes at sunset was an experience beyond words — peaceful, surreal, and absolutely stunning. Spending the night in a desert camp under a blanket of stars was pure magic. The hospitality of our Berber hosts made it even more special; they shared music, stories, and delicious traditional meals that we’ll never forget.

We (my husband and I) recently completed an unforgettable 8-day tour with Advisor Morocco Tours, starting and ending in Marrakech. The entire itinerary was custom-designed by Mohammed, and it took us through some of the most stunning and diverse landscapes Morocco has to offer.

From Marrakech, we traveled through the majestic Atlas Mountains, visited Ouarzazate, and explored the magical Sahara Desert in Merzouga—where we enjoyed a camel ride, a thrilling jeep tour, and an unforgettable night in a desert camp under the stars. We then continued through the cedar forests, where we encountered wild monkeys, and visited the cultural heart of Morocco: Fes, the stunning blue city of Chefchaouen, the capital Rabat, and finally Casablanca.

From start to finish, the experience was smooth, worry-free, and absolutely memorable.

Mohammed—our guide, driver, and as we joked, “babysitter”—was simply fantastic. He speaks excellent English and made us feel welcome, comfortable, and safe at every moment of the trip.

We trusted all of his accommodation suggestions, and he truly listened to our preferences. The riads and hotels he selected were perfect—often with pools, breakfast included, and close to parking. There was always someone to help with luggage, and we never once felt lost or unsure of where to go.

In the larger cities, Mohammed arranged for professional, licensed guides to give us walking tours—each one knowledgeable and engaging. He also recommended restaurants that perfectly matched our tastes and even helped us find local supermarkets or family-owned shops when needed.
