Your 8 days Morocco tour from Marrakech starts after breakfast. We drive through the High Atlas Mountains and enjoy amazing views at Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, we stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and famous movie location. After lunch near the kasbah, we continue to Ouarzazate and then pass through the Rose Valley before reaching Boumalne Dades for the night.
After breakfast, we travel to the Todra Gorges, famous for their high cliffs and natural beauty. Later, we drive through Erfoud and continue to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. In the afternoon, you will ride camels across the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset. Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, we leave the dunes and drive through the Ziz Valley, with its long palm groves. We stop in Midelt and continue through the Cedar Forest near Azrou, where you may see wild monkeys. We also stop in Ifrane, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco,” before reaching Fes in the evening.
After breakfast, we head north through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the Blue City. The town is famous for its blue-painted houses and peaceful atmosphere. You will have free time to walk in the medina and enjoy the charm of this special city. Overnight stay in a riad.
Today we leave Chefchaouen and travel to Tetouan, a coastal city with strong Andalusian influence. Then we continue to Tangier, a port city that connects Africa and Europe. You will have time to explore Tangier before spending the night in a hotel.
