Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat

Welcome to Morocco! You 8 days Morocco itinerary begins with a friendly welcome at Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport. We’ll start with a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque. You’ll admire its detailed tile work, marble carvings, and views of the ocean. With one of the tallest minarets in the world, this mosque is unforgettable!

Next, we’ll head to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, where you’ll visit cultural landmarks like the Hassan Tower and the Oudayas Kasbah. After exploring Rabat, we’ll drop you off at your accommodation so you can rest and get ready for the days ahead. If you arrive at night, we’ll take you straight to your Casablanca hotel to settle in and start fresh the next morning.

Day 2: Rabat - Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we’re off to Chefchaouen, a lovely town in the Rif Mountains. The scenic drive takes around four hours, passing by beautiful hills and small villages.

Once in Chefchaouen, you’ll check in at your hotel and have free time to explore the famous blue-washed streets. Stroll through the charming Medina, visit colorful markets, and relax at cafes serving delicious Moroccan food. Chefchaouen’s unique style and warm vibe make it a place you’ll always remember. Don’t forget your camera to capture the beauty of this special town!

Day 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

Start the day with a delicious breakfast and a drive through scenic Rif villages. Our first stop is Volubilis, the ancient Roman city. Here, you’ll explore well-preserved ruins and admire beautiful mosaics and structures that give a glimpse into Roman life.

Next, we’ll head to Meknes, a city full of history. After lunch, we’ll explore the Medina and the famous Bab el Mansour gate. We’ll also visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, honoring one of Morocco’s great leaders. From here, we’ll drive to Fes for a restful night at a charming Riad.

Day 4 : Guided tour of Fes

Today, enjoy a full-day tour of Fes with a local guide. Begin at the Royal Palace gate, then dive into the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover places like Al-Qarawiyyin University, Al-Attarine Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, and the traditional Chouara Tanneries.

We’ll also visit the Jewish Quarter, known as the “Mellah,” to learn about Fes’s Jewish heritage. The day ends with a visit to a hilltop fortress for a panoramic view of the city before returning to your Riad.

Day 5: Fes - Ifrane - Middle Atlas Mountains - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we start our journey to the desert! Our first stop is the scenic town of Ifrane, known for its European-style architecture. We’ll then pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains and visit a cedar forest where you might spot Barbary monkeys.

After a lunch break, we’ll continue to the palm-filled Ziz Valley and arrive at the edge of the desert in Merzouga. Here, you’ll join a camel caravan across the Erg Chebbi dunes. As you travel through the desert, take a break to watch the sunset from the top of a dune.
