We are so excited to be with you for twelve days in a big, long and unforgettable 12 day Morocco tour from Casablanca along Morocco to discover, and explore every most attractive sites and monuments in this wonderful country.

 So in the first day of our big trip, we will come to take from the port or the airport according to your arriving time, then we will carry you to your accommodation depending on your reservation, whatever an hotel or a riad, where you will have dinner and sleep for the night.

The sun of a new day has risen, you will have an excellent Moroccan breakfast, full of delicious food and rich with flavours. After enjoying your delicious healthy breakfast, we will pay a visit to this vibrant and the most largest city in Morocco and in the Maghreb region, it is Morocco’s chief port and one of the largest financial centres on the continent. It has an unusual combination of areas, monuments, emotions, and cultures.

From the outside of the medina, it looks so much familiar to one of some European modern cities, but when you get inside its walls and gates you realize how really old and modest is that city, with all it’s building and of course those people living between these walls, the alleys of its souk, the sound of the praying caller, and many other things. All this combine to create an amazing and beautiful city.

We will visit on of the most attractive sites in this city which the second biggest mosque in the world “the Hassan II Mosque”, it has a magnificent structure with a spectacular views over the sea, which it gives the prayer peaceful thought, after visiting and taking pictures of this massive mosque, we will head to some other important sites in this city such as the “Boulevard de la Corniche”” “The Park of the United Nations” and the “Mohamed V square”.

After eating a delicious lunch in a restaurant, we will drive to our next destination “Rabat”, an imperial city surrounded by several ancient walls. The medina of this city reflects the spirit of the ancient city, with all its splendid carpets, handicrafts, craftsmen, and the people living there.

We will of course pay a visit the Royal Palace, the house of the Royal family, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V which is on the opposite side of the Hassan Tower that we are going to visit  too and take pictures on it, and other beautiful places in this gorgeous city.

When the night comes we will go to a local hotel, we will eat there, sit down together, make discussions about what we are going to do in the next days, build new friendships, and sleep of course.

Good morning, we hope you had a tightly sleep yesterday, it’s a new morning in our 12 day Morocco tour from Casablanca, get ready to enjoy. So we will continue our way of course after having breakfast to our destination Volubilis, a partly excavated Berber and Roman city in Morocco situated near the city of Meknes, and commonly considered as the ancient capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. 

The city gained a number of major public buildings in the 2nd century, including a basilica, temple and triumphal arch, The Decumanus Maximus, The Tingis Gate, The North Baths, … Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, listed for being “an exceptionally well preserved example of a large Roman colonial town on the fringes of the Empire”.

We are going to explore these ruins get to know about the history of this ancient city.

Later we’ll go along to Meknes, a beautiful imperial city in the heart of Morocco. It has too many wonderful places to be seen and discovered, such as its souks, El-Hedim square, Bab el Mansour gate, Sahrij Swani and more.

Later in the afternoon we will go to Fez where we will spend the night and the coming day.

We hope you sleep well again, today you’ll have our breakfast, a delicious one of course, later we are going in a little discovering mission to the middle of Fez, an ancient, wealthy, cultural, and the most spiritual city of the four imperial cities of Morocco, Fez it’s like passage you can see the modern and the ancient sides of it at the same time.

In Fez There is a lot to see, first we will go to Chouara Tannery,t he most notable feature of Chouara and the other local tanneries is the numerous stone vessels filled with different colored dyes and white liquids. it is one of the three tanneries in the city of Fez, Morocco. Built in the 11th century, it is the largest tannery in the city.

We will also go to the Karaouine Mosque, it is the oldest existing, continually operating higher educational institution in the world according to UNESCO and Guinness World Records and is occasionally referred to as the oldest university by scholars.

We will take a look at Bab Boujloud the most important gate to the Medina, it is an ornate city gate and the main western entrance to Fes el Bali, the old city of Fez.

We will go also to see The Royal Palace of the 14th century, an one of the largest and oldest palaces in Morocco. Unfortunately we cannot visit the inside because it’s the Royal family’s house. But it is worth visiting to contemplate its seven gates.

Do you know something about the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss?. It’s okay if you don’t, we will go to explore it for sure, it’s a shrine dedicated to the spirit of Moulay Idriss, the king of Morocco between the years 807 and 828, and the founder of Fez.

Later we will proceed to the Seffarine square which is located in the inside of the Medina, and where one of the oldest professions of Fez still alive it’s the craft of metalworkers.

After a while we will drive to the Madrassas, Old Koranic schools, and turns sometimes to resident houses for students, in this city there are three of these schools, only one can be visited is the Medersa Cherratine, which is different from the other schools because its functional style is embellished.

Later in the evening we will go to the hotel where we can get some rest and eat dinner.

We’re going to leave Fez early in the morning because the way will be long to Merzouga. We will travel to our next direction Midelt passing through Ifrane, this is one of the most curious towns in Morocco because of its architecture and European ambience. It’s a town in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains. It’s known for its alpine-style architecture and nearby ski slopes and forests and it has the most famous universities in the country also it’s one of the preferred destinations of wealthier Moroccans.

We will also make a quick visit to the big cedar forest located in Azrou, which is famous with a cedar named Gouraud which is the largest and ancient cedar in the region. This forest is also the shelter of hundreds of cute apes which you may want to feed and play with it. Later we will go along in our way crossing through the Middle Atlas Mountains and enjoying the stunning landscapes which you may desire to take pictures for.

The next stop will be in Azrou (Great Rock) takes its name from the isolated outcrop marking the town’s western boundary. The big Ennour mosque, beautifully finished with local cedar, provides another handy landmark. Azrou’s petite medina is most easily accessible from the south side of Place Mohammed V and is a refreshing place to wander without hassle, surrounded by hills, and perfect places to walk and enjoy the excellent views of the environment. 

Monkeys and fragrant cedar forest trails are what draw visitors to Azrou, but the town itself is a thoroughly unhurried, relaxing spot in which to wind down if you’re feeling frazzled after too many big cities. It’s an important Berber market centre deep in the Middle Atlas, with a shaggy mane of woods and high meadows that burst into flower every spring. Also one of the most important interests of the city are the carpets industry, where women weave carpets and men carve cedar wood.

We will continue the 12 day Morocco tour from Casablanca to Midelt, located between the Middle and the High Atlas and makes a handy break between Fez and the desert. Coming from the north, in particular, the landscape offers some breathtaking views, especially of the eastern High Atlas, which seem to rise out of nowhere. We will eat lunch there, via the pass of “Tizi Talghemt” , which means, Neck of the Camel, at an altitude of 1907 meters. 

Our journey continues to Erfoud in the afternoon and Errachidia along the Ziz Valley, a beautiful landscape with its red gorges that contrast with the green river. The valley widens, presenting a spectacular sight: a dense canopy of palms wedged between ancient striated cliffs, which date to the Jurassic period. It’s worth taking some time here to explore the rich, untouristed palmeraies (palm groves).

Later in the evening we will reach our next destination Merzouga where we are going to spend the night in an hotel until the morning.

This morning we are going to explore the wonderful desert of Merzouga, crossing one of the ways that were used in Rally Dakar.  We will learn how the local people survive in this area in the cold of winter, and the heat of summer, and of course we will share a glass of tea with them. There we can enjoy a lot of breathtakingly landscapes and see how powerful is the nature.

After a long driving through nothing but the mountains that we left behind, a small town surrounded by endless sand and silence appears from the nowhere, here the time seems to be stopped, the people are living a very simple life, they have nothing from what we got nowadays but the essentials.

We’ll visit a small village of Khamlia, whose inhabitants are believed to be descended from escaped slaves. This frontier town is home to notable gnaoua musicians, including Les Pigeons du Sable. We can drink some tea with them and listen to their amazing music.

You know the famous mines of Mfis? Have you ever heard about it? Well, it’s where the French have extracted the Barite mineral, we will visit it of course because it deserves to be seen with its dramatic view and its proximity to the Algerian borders, this area brings up many emotions.

Finally and after spending hours on the road, we will make it through the desert, we’ll stop a while in Tissardmine Oasis to suspect some very ancient sedimentary rocks contains plants fossils and animal bones from the gone ages.

Later we’ll reach our accommodation to eat, and in the late afternoon we’ll get ready to go in a camels ride to the golden desert dunes where we will spend the night under a sky full of stars perfect for stargazing. Here the silence will make you think about all what you have done in your entire life and will open your mind, surrounded by miles of sand.

But first you will witness an unforgettable, wonderful, and stunning sunset that you have ever seen before in middle of the golden dunes. We will try the night of Berber people and try how they have lived here for decades before, we will eat with them, have tea and a nomadic dinner with them, and sleep in their Khaima tents.

You had a good sleeping yesterday? We really hope so because we are planning to witness something wonderful. We will wake up so earlier this morning to see an heart melting sunrise just the same as the sunset that we saw yesterday. After seeing this natural magic we’ll ride the camels back to the hotel to clean our hair from the sand in a warm shower, and eat an amazing breakfast makes you feel like you’re home.

Our destination today is Rissani, we will visit the bustling market, you will see here something seems to be funny, but essential for local people, a donkeys parking here there’s the main transportation way is donkey, it transfers products like food, water, people etc around the area, and that’s really amazed every foreigner pass through this town.

Later we will proceed to a city known by its fossils, it’s Erfoud. We may visit workshops where the experts made beautiful furnitures and handicrafts. After a while we will drive to Todra Gorges, Here, both the Todra and Dades Rivers have carved out cliff-sided canyons on their final 25-mile stretch through the mountains, leaving behind this series of reliefs and etches in the rock. Late in the afternoon we will reach Dades Valley, where We will have dinner and sleep there in an hotel.

This morning we will make it to Dades Gorge, sitting in the rain shadow of the Central Atlas, the Dadès Gorge presents a dramatic landscape: ancient rust-red and mauve mountains stripped back to zigzagging layers of strata and knobbly rock formations.

You are going to be amazed when you see the difference between the life of the Moroccan people according to the areas where they live, those in the desert, the others in the mountains, and the rest in the cities. 

Here the desert and the mountains combined together and married the river to create this amazing gorges and then transforms into a fertile valley.

The road of the thousand kasbahs is so attractive and of course and see the landscapes. We will pass through Boutaghar, its a small town which we will explore and contacts its friendly people. We will follow the Valley of the Roses, here we will eat lunch in one of the popular restaurants of the area. After lunch, we continue along the valley to reach Ouarzazate “Africa’s Hollywood” and cross the High Atlas to reach Marrakech the red city. At night we will eat and sleep in the hotel.

We are at Marrakech, a really amazing city with no doubt, this is why we are going to explore it for the whole day.

We will start our excursion by visiting a reflection to the Paradise on earth, the Menara Gardens. It’s a peaceful garden when you walk beside its water you feel the love, tge happiness, and the peace. The Menara’s located in the center, in front of it there’s a very big pond was used in the past to train the soldiers swimming. There’s a legend says that this house was the scene of ‘love trysts’ for Sultans and that one of these had a habit of throwing his lovers in the water the next day at sunrise.

Later we will explore The Saadian Tombs, one of the most visited places of Marrakech, were opened for public in 1917, Anyone who says you can’t take it with you hasn’t seen the Saadian Tombs, near the Kasbah Mosque. Saadian Sultan Ahmed Al Mansour Ed Dahbi spared no expense on his tomb, importing Italian Carrara marble and gilding honeycomb muqarnas (decorative plasterwork) with pure gold to make the Chamber of the 12 Pillars a suitably glorious mausoleum.

We will visit now one of the Moroccan old palaces, The Bahia Palace. This palace and its gardens built with the intention of being the biggest palace of all the times. The salons of both the petit riad and grand riad host intricate marquetry and zouak (painted wood) ceilings while the vast grand courtyard, trimmed in jaunty blue and yellow, leads to the Room of Honour, with a spectacular cedar ceiling.

Later we’ll head to The Koutoubia Mosque. The original mosque, built by Almoravid architects, wasn’t properly aligned with Mecca, so the pious Almohads levelled it to build a realigned one. When the present mosque was finished by Sultan Yacoub El Mansour in the 12th century, 100 booksellers were clustered around its base – hence the name, from kutubiyyin (booksellers).

After a while we will visit Djemaa El Fna Square. It is a square and market place in Marrakesh’s medina quarter. It remains the main square of Marrakesh, used by locals and tourists. There is much going on here. Things to eat, drink and buy. Very interesting to see this culture in action. Had a blast walking around and seeing all of the products. But you should of course keep an eye on your items, and explore with the other one.

After this big tour around Marrakech we will go in evening to our hotel where we will spend the night it’s sleep tomorrow comes.

Our 12 day Morocco tour from Casablanca continues to the coastal city of Essaouira. Essaouira is a port city and resort on Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Its medina (old town) is protected by 18th-century seafront ramparts called the Skala de la Kasbah, which were designed by European engineers. Old brass cannons line the walls, and there are ocean views. 

Strong “Alizée” trade winds make the city’s crescent beach popular for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfin. Essaouira lies on the crossroads between two tribes, the Arab Chiadma to the north and the Haha Berbers in the south. Add to that the Gnawa, who came originally from further south in Africa, and the Europeans, and you get a rich cultural mix. 

People come to this city to wander through the spice-scented lanes and palm-lined avenues of the fortified medina, browse the many art galleries and boutiques, relax in some of the country’s best hotels and watch fishing nets being mended and traditional boats being constructed in the hugely atmospheric port. 

Here fishing is the main income in the city, and we can’t miss the opportunity to watch the lively spectacle of boats returning to port, and savour the incomparable freshness of fish. This city will make you remember it with no doubt, it gives every visitor unforgettable memories.

The night will be spent in an hotel with a delicious dinner from the city goods.

The 12 day Morocco tour from Casablanca reachs its final days, we have to enjoy these days as much as possible and make a lot of good memories about this country. today we will make it to the economic capital Casablanca, on our way we will stop in Oualidia, a delightful resort town, spreads around a gorgeous crescent-shaped lagoon fringed with golden sands and protected from the wild surf by a rocky breakwater. Oualidia is a perfect getaway retreat that is considered the optimum in North Africa for its temperate climate. 

The region enjoys approximately 320 days of sunshine each year. The lagoon remains serene and tranquil all year long. When compared to its counterpart, separated only by a sand bar, the wildest waves are exhibited by the Atlantic Ocean. Thousands of surfers naturally amass to the ocean side paradise seeking to “hang-ten,” while families opt for the lagoon. The surf and sun may be the main attraction for a vacationer, but there’s more available than just spectacular beaches. So much to see  in this little place. 

Later We will continuelong the coast until we reach El Jadida, in July and August, this town transforms into a heaving holiday resort popular with Moroccan families. The only compelling reason for travellers to head here is to visit the Unesco-listed 16th-century Cité Portugaise, and this is something that can easily be done in an hour or two en route between Casablanca and towns further down the coast. this town has preserved all its walls and four of the five original bastions, its fishing port and its well preserved medina as well as the openness to the ocean are the main attractions of this city. 

We will continue our 12 day Morocco tour from Casablanca along the coast to pay a visit to the Vestiges of the Portuguese and we will reach Casablanca in the middle of the afternoon. Where we will sleep the night an eat.
