Our trip begins from the city of Fes by picking you up from your accomodation and, togheter we will start our unforgettable journey. We’re going to leave Fez early in the morning because the way will be long to Merzouga. We will travel to our next direction Midelt passing through Ifrane, this is one of the most curious towns in Morocco because of its architecture and European ambience. It’s a town in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains. It’s known for its alpine-style architecture and nearby ski slopes and forests and it has the most famous universities in the country also it’s one of the preferred destinations of wealthier Moroccans. We will also make a quick visit to the big cedar forest located in Azrou, which is famous with a cedar named Gouraud which is the largest and ancient cedar in the region. This forest is also the shelter of hundreds of cute apes which you may want to feed and play with it. Later we will go along in our way crossing through the Middle Atlas Mountains and enjoying the stunning landscapes which you may desire to take pictures for. Our next stop will be in Azrou (Great Rock) takes its name from the isolated outcrop marking the town’s western boundary. The big Ennour mosque, beautifully finished with local cedar, surrounded by hills, and perfect places to walk and enjoy the excellent views of the environment. Monkeys and fragrant cedar forest trails are what draw visitors to Azrou, and also one of the most important interests of the city are the carpets industry, where women weave carpets and men carve cedar wood. Later we will drive to Midelt, a very famous with its mineral products and apples. After a while we we’ll pass by Ziz valley, which is a series of gorges in Morocco on the upper course of the Ziz River. Then we will visit Erfoud , an oasis town in the Sahara desert which is a destination of filmmakers due to the beauty of the surrounding Sahara Desert and the town’s oasis areas. And later we’ll reach Todra Gorges in the sunset, dinner and overnight in a hotel.
In the morning, and after breakfast, we will go driving through the tinghir province, till we reach one of the best places to be at in Morocco, one of the most spectacular canyons around the world, the “Todgha gorges”, beautifully carved between the hills by the Dades river; here you will enjoy a hike among local people and their packing animals. After a while we will go towards Errissani, Thereupon we will proceed in a long way until we reach Merzouga where we will spend the night.
After breakfast, well explore the desert of Erg Chebbi and the surroundings with our off-road vehicles; starting by the charming village of Khamila , inhabited with Gnawa tribes that they will entertain you with their beautiful musictheb we will visit some nomads families that will welcome us to have a cup of tea with them under the shadow of their tents and we will get know more about their daily lives basis.
At evening, you will hop on the camels that will take you through the magnificent golden sand under the breath-taking sunset. Subsequently you will reach our traditional camp, where you will be welcomed by a local Berber music show and a traditional dinner, and we will of course sleep there under the sky.
we’ll wake up early to eat breakfast, and witness a spectacular and breathtaking sunrise in a memorable moment. And after seeing this magic, we will unfortunately leave the impressive Merzouga, driving till we reach one of the best places to be at in Morocco, one of the most spectacular canyons around the world, the “Todgha gorges”, beautifully carved between the hills by the Dades river; here you will enjoy a hike among local people and their packing animals. Later we will proceed towards the Dades gorge where we will enjoy a traditional dinner and we’ll spend the night at a local hotel.
Today, we are going to discover the amazing area of Dades, where you will visit some nomads caves on the way, then we will drive through the amazing Valley of roses, which is all covered by pink and red roses in a charming view. Afterwards, we will drive to Ouarzazate “The Gate to The desert” which we’re going to explore it in a little guided tour. After a certain time we are going to visit one of the most visited places of Morocco, and it’s called “The Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou”, considered by the UNESCO as a world heritage site and one of the main attractive sites for universal movies producers such as “Game of Thrones”, “the Mummy”, “Son of God” etc. Right after a quiet stay, we will draw our way through the highest mountain pass in North Africa “ Tizi’n’Tichka “, with an altitude of 2,260m upon the sea level, offering us some incredible views to take pictures for over the high Atlas mountains. After driving along we will reach Marrakech at the evening, where we will spend the night at an hotel, and having a good dinner too.
A brand new day, and also the last day in our for you with us in our private tour. So after breakfast we will get to explore the historical and artistic sides of the red city “Marrakech”, with all its unique monuments and main attractions such as: the Koutoubia mosque and the Minara gardens, also the Bahia palace that offers you a blend of artefacts.
Crossing into its old alleys of the medina and its old market; without missing relaxing at Majorelle gardens and, the historical Saadian tombs. Finally conclude the day in front of the charming Plaza of Jamaa Lefna, where fortune tellers, comedians and musicians seeks for your attention.
