5 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, and desert

DAY 1: FROM CASABLANCA TO MARRAKECH

Our journey start by picking you up from the airport at Casablanca, where you will meet our driver and, staff; that will be your companions on this trip. Directly you will be transferred to the beautiful red city of “Marrakech”, where you will have lunch upon arrival; check in the hotel/riad, you will be staying at; then we will take you in a private tour around the city’s most uncanny monuments; starting with the beautiful old medina and, its old spices market that will confuse your nose with a blend of beautiful smells; right after you will visit the majestic Koutoubia mosque, the biggest and oldest mosque in the city, with its well desolated minara that digs her way through the sky of Marrakech and, not far from the mosque you will visit the Menara gardens; After a quiet stay we will head over to explore the Bahia palace, a real example of the Moroccan Riad, with its unique architecture and, its decoration; After skipping the sun for a bit, you will visit the magnificent site of Saadian tombs. At evening, you will conclude the day, in front of the charming Square of Jamaa Lefna, where musicians, fortune tellers and, acrobats will comet for your attention. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2 : MARRAKECH TO DADES GORGES

Head through Ouarzazate we will be crossing the highest mountain pass in north Africa the Tizi n’Tichka road, through the Dades valley, offering you a panoramic scenery over the high Atlas mountains; till we reach the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou; a world heritage site and, Morocco’s pride of architecture in the south, that attracted people and, producers from all over the world to give it a part in their films (more than 20 universal movies) such as “Son of God”, ”Prince of Persia”, ”Jesus of Nazareth” etc.

Thereupon, we will continue to the city of Ouarzazate, also known as the “Ouallywood”, because it is a home for one of the biggest film studios around the world “Atlas studios”, where you will have a guided tour, to explore the sets and, know more about the film’s that had been shot there. After a quiet stay in the area, we will continue our journey to the Dades valley, where you will be spending the night at a local Kasbah, with dinner included.

DAY 3 : DADES GORGES TO MERZOUGA DESERT

In the morning, you will enjoy breakfast in front of the beautiful area of Dades and, have a short round after to discover the famous Monkey toes mountains; before heading over to one of the most spectacular canyons around the world, beautifully sits between hills the “Todgha gorges”, where you will have the opportunity to hike and share the road with locals and their packing animals, in a friendly  mood, enjoying the view from above. At late afternoon, we will arrive at the town of Merzouga, where you will check in a hotel near the dunes to restore and prepare your bivouac gear; thereupon, our guide will take you in a memorable experience through the loose sandy dunes of Erg Echebbi on top of camels, taking you to our traditional camp under the beautiful sunset. Later we will reached the camp, you will be welcomed by local musicians show that you will enjoy while sipping a warm cup of tea, before a traditional dinner will be served to you around the camp fire. Overnight at tents under the sky.

DAY 4 : MERZOUGA DESERT TO FES

In the morning, our guide will wake you early so you can watch a nature’s miracle Merzouga’s sunrise  and, while the sun shine’s and warms our skins you will enjoy a traditional breakfast. Afterwards we will switch back to our vehicle continuing our trip, by visiting the small town of Rissani the birth place of the founder of Alaouiste dynasty “Moulay Ali Cherif”, where you will enjoy strolling around.

Thereupon, we will resume our tour, passing by the Ziz river, where the greenery of the beautiful palm groves and oases lined along the area; right after we will cross the second major highest mountain pass in Morocco, the Tizi n’Talghamt road, offering you some great views over the high Atlas mountains; till we reach Midelt, where you can have lunch. After lunch we are going to continue driving towards the cultural capital of Morocco, the city of Fes, crossing the beautiful middle Atlas mountains and, the large cedar forests.

At evening we will arrive at Fes, where you will spend the night.

DAY 5 : FES TO CASABLANCA

After breakfast, our guide will take you in a private tour around the historical sides of Fes with its majestic monuments and, old alleys.

At noon, we will drive back to the city of Casablanca where we will thank you for choosing our company for sharing this trip with us and here where our journey unfortunately ends.
